Crystal started playing volleyball in high school. She
played four years at San Juan High School, as a setter. Crystal was selected as the All City Setter for three of the four years she played. Crystal was selected as JV MVP and was awarded Best Sportsmanship two years in a row at the Varsity level. After high school Crystal continued her setting career at American River College, Sierra College and Diablo Valley College.
Crystal has been coaching for two years. She coached the Franklin School's 7th and 8th grade girls teams in 2008 and 2009. Currently, she is the Rosemont High School freshman team, ending their league season at 7-2. She is also the setting coach for Rosemont High School. Crystal believes that while winning is great, its not everything. It is her goal that she not only teaches her players the game of volleyball and ways to better their skills; but also teach her players tools that they can take with them when they're off the court.
Crystal currently works as a RDA in a specialty dental office in Roseville. She is engaged to David Stafford. In her down time Crystal enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, hunting and just spending time with her fiance and their chocolate lab Sadie.
